carefully.
Any Virginia Tech student who
wishes to obtain a PRESCRIPTION method of contraception (regardless of the
reason they want the method) from Schiffert Health Center must first

this requirement. There are no class requirements for obtaining
OVER-THE-COUNTER methods of contraception from our pharmacy.

an "outside" provider |

or pharmacist call our pharmacy and transfer
your prescription to our pharmacy |
| A Woman With a Current Prescription - If you are currently on oral contraceptives or Depo-Provera, your
prescription is "running out," and you want SHC to write you a
new prescription |
- 1) you can complete our
ON-LINE CLASS or
- 2) you can schedule an 'In-person' Consult
|
| A Woman currently NOT
on Prescription Contraceptives |
- 1) you can complete our
ON-LINE CLASS or
- 2) you can schedule a 'In-person' Consult
|
To Schedule an 'In-person' Consult
If you would prefer to take this class in-person, please call
231-3070, to make an appointment with a health educator. This in-person
reproductive health & contraceptive options appointment can be made for an
individual, couple, or small group and will cover the same information as the
on-line class. This appointment will take about the same amount of time as the
on-line class.
