Jumpstart Beginner Exercise Program

Starting an exercise program can be overwhelming and sticking with it can be challenging. With proper planning and instruction, you can reach your goals.  Presented by Schiffert Health Center, Office of Health Education, and Rec Sports.

JumpStart Enrollment is now Full. Email if you'd like to be added to the Wait List. Openings may occur in the next two weeks. Class meets Mondays 12:30-1:30p weekly or Sundays 7-8 weekly.

Is this program a good match for you?
If you answer "yes" to all of the questions below, you could benefit from this program.

  1. I currently do NOT participate in aerobic exercise (for example: running, walking, cycling, swimming, etc) or I participate every now and then.

  2. I believe I would exercise more consistently if I had a group to encourage me.

  3. I am willing to devote at least 10 minutes a day to exercise.

  4. I am willing to commit to exercising with a group once a week.

  5. I believe that I am more likely to be healthier if I exercise regularly.

  6. Figuring out how I can exercise consistently is important to me.
