Cholesterol Screening

 

·     This cholesterol screening service provides you with your TOTAL cholesterol level only and a health counseling appointment to discuss your results. 

·    This service is provided at no additional charge to currently enrolled VT students who have paid their health fee.

Step 1: Visit the Schiffert Health Center (SHC) and request a Cholesterol Screening Card.

Step 2:  Fill out the personal information on the card.  Make sure to initial the method by which you would like to be contacted when your results are ready.

Step 3: Have your blood drawn by making an appointment with SHC lab.

Step 4:  Wait for notification from the SHC Health Education office that your results are ready.

Step 5: Make an appointment with a health educator to receive & discuss your results.
