Schiffert Health Center

On-Line Student Health

On-Line Student Health Portal (OSH) Features

In OSH students may:

  • Make/View/Cancel Medical Clinic Appointments
    • Students who have paid the health fee may make, view, and cancel appointments on-line.  Currently we are accepting on-line appointments in the Medical Clinic only.  Call the Health Center for appointments in Women's Clinic and Allergy Clinic (allergy shots).  Click on Appointments in OSH.  Check off symptoms that apply, then select an open appointment.  DO NOT make on-line appointments for emergencies - seek immediate help (ER or 911).
  • Receive Secure Messages From The Health Center
    • Health Center practitioners may send secure messages - such as lab results - to students via OSH.  The student would receive a note at their Virginia Tech email account requesting them to log on to OSH to read a secure message.  Click on Messages in OSH.
  • Enter/View immunization records
    • Students may enter and view their immunization history or print a report of missing immunization requirements. Click on Immunizations in OSH.  Note: a signed and completed immunization form must still be mailed to Schiffert Health Center.

How to register for On-Line Student Health:

1) Navigate to https://www.healthcenter.vt.edu/OSH

2) Register to create a OSH account - you will need your Virginia Tech ID number and Virginia Tech e-mail address.

3) A password will be sent to your Virginia Tech email address and you will be asked to change the password.   Passwords must be at least 8 characters long and contain at least one upper case letter, lower case letter, and number. Passwords may not contain the user ID.  Example: "xTp9z32m".  Note:  Some users have had a problem changing their password using less popular web browsers.  If you have a problem, please complete the registration using Internet Explorer.  We are working on this issue.

4) Remember your user name and password - don't share it. If you forget your user name or password, you will need to register with OSH again.
