Purpose: The purpose of the "Cold Self-Care Guide for On-The-Go Hokies" is to provide adequate information and resources for students to learn:
- Proper prevention practices
- Proper self-care and self-isolation techniques
- When it is appropriate to call a health care provider
- The "Emergency Warning Signs"
- The value of acquiring, updating and practicing these skills and how it can ultimately reduce the amount of lost time in academics and other interests.
This website replaces the previously distributed booklet titled “Cold Self-Care for On-The-Go-Hokies” and the older online assessment and self-care site.
