Follow the directions on your thermometer's cover.

If you don't have a thermometer visit the Schiffert Health Center's Self-Care Cold Clinic in McComas Hall.

A. READ AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS

on your thermometer...

B. REMOVE THERMOMETER

from protective storage cover...

C. PLACE PROBE COVER ON THERMOMETER

(if required/desired)...

D. PRESS THE BUTTON TO TURN THE THERMOMETER ON (on most models you will hear a beep as the display is cleared for you to begin use)...

E. PLACE THE COVERED TIP OF THE THERMOMETER UNDER THE TONGUE AND CLOSE MOUTH AROUND THERMOMETER

wait for at least ONE MINUTE or until the thermometer beeps...

F. REMOVE THERMOMETER AND READ THE DISPLAY IMMEDIATELY...

G. WRITE DOWN

the date, time and your temperature. If your temperature is 100.6 or above please call 231-6444 to make an appointment with a healthcare provider...
